Confined Spaces Entry & Exit using Breathing Apparatus (Medium Risk)
The Confined Spaces 1 day course is for all delegates that have to access medium risk confined spaces.
Delegates working in confined spaces are exposed to a range of potential hazards, some of which may threaten serious injury or even death. This confined spaces course is designed to equip those undertaking this type of work with the necessary skills and competencies to assess risk, control hazards, and work safely.
The course includes the use of escape breathing apparatus, and involves the presence of one or more people – positioned outside the confined space – who have responsibilities for controlling the entry and dealing with emergencies.
Entry to the confined space involves vertical entry using a ladder or winch, both requiring fall protection harnessing, breathing apparatus, and gas monitors.
Upon successful achievement of this course, delegates will receive a HOST in-house certificate. Photo cards are available for an additional cost if they are required.
