Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Network Construction Operations – Mainlaying (Gas)

The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Network Construction Operations – Mainlaying (Gas) is a 5 day training course followed by on-site assessments.

Candidates will need to attend all days and then complete a portfolio of evidence that will be assessed by our experienced team of Assessors.

The qualification can take from 6 – 24 months to complete, depending on work commitments, and you will be given high levels of support throughout the process.

Once achieved, the qualification will be added to your Energy & Utility Skills Card lasts for five years from the date of completion.

There are 3 main routes:

• Level 2 Diploma in Network Construction Operations (Gas) – Main layer (Self lay) – 44 credits
• Level 2 Diploma in Network Construction Operations (Gas) – Main layer (Distribution) – 51 credits
• Level 2 Diploma in Network Construction Operations (Gas) – Main layer (Repair and Maintenance) – 62 credits
